We Are The Seed of Avraham
We believe that this is the halachah/walk that we should follow: The way
we should halach/walk out our personal relationship with Creator Yehowah and
fellow man. The teachings/doctrines of Yehowah are in the Torah for us to
follow.
Beresheet/Genesis 18:17-19: And Yehowah said; "Shall I hide from Avraham what
I am about to do; seeing that Avraham shall become a great and mighty
nation and all the nations of the earth shall bless themselves by him."
"For I know him in that he will command/charge his children and his
household after him to keep the 'derech Yehowah/Way of Yehowah' by doing tzdaqah/righteousness
and meshpat/justice so that Yehowah may bring to Avraham what He has promised
to him."
Beresheet/Genesis 21:12; But ‘Elohim
said to Avraham, “Let it not be evil in your eyes because of your female
servant. Whatever Sarah has said to you. Listen to her voice, for in
Yetzchaq your seed is named.”
Beresheet/Genesis 26:3-5; And Yehowah said, “Sojourn in this land. And I
shall be with you-Yetzchaq and bless you, for I give all these lands to
you and your seed. And I shall fulfill/establish the oath which I swore to
your father Avraham.” And I shall increase your seed like the stars of the
heavens, and I shall give all these lands to your seed. And in all your
seed all the nations of the earth shall bless themselves, because Avraham
obeyed My voice, and guarded meshmarti/My Charge: metzoti/My commands,
chuqoti/My Laws and toroti/My Torot.”
Beresheet/Genesis 48:19-20; But his father Yisra’el refused and said, “I
know my son-Yoseph, I know. He-Menashsheh also becomes a people, and he
also is great. And yet, his younger brother-‘Ehfrayem is greater than he,
and his seed is to become melo-hagoyem/a multitude of the nations.” And he
blessed them on that day, saying, “In you Yisra’el shall bless, saying, ‘
‘Elohim make you as ‘Ehfrayem and as Menashsheh!’ “ Thus he put ‘Ehfrayem
before Menashsheh.
YeshaYahu/Isaiah 1:9; Unless Yehowah Tzva’ot/Yehowah of hosts had left us a
small remnant, we would have become like Sedom, we would have been made
just like ‘Amorah.
YeshaYahu/Isaiah 51:1-5; “Listen to Me, you who pursue
tzdaqah/righteousness, seeking Yehowah: Look to the Rock which you were hewn
from, and to the hole of the pit you were dug from.” “Look to Avraham your
father, and to Sarah who bore you. For he was alone when I called him, and
I blessed him and increased him.” “For Yehowah shall comfort Tzion . He shall
comfort all her waste places. For He makes her wilderness like ‘eden, and
her desert like the gan/garden of Yehowah. Joy and gladness are found in it,
thanksgiving and the voice of song.” “Listen to Me, My people, and give
ear to Me, O My nation, for the Torah goes forth from Me, and meshpati/My
justice I set as a light to the peoples.” “My righteousness is near .
Yesh’i/My salvation has gone forth, and My arms judge the people for Me.
Coastlands wait for Me, and for My arm they shall hope expectantly.”
Tsleeleem/Psalm 25:8-10; "Tov/good and yashar/upright is Yehowah; therefore
He instructs sinners darko/His way. He leads the humble in what is
meshpat/right and teaches the humble darko/His way. All the paths of Yehowah
are steadfast love and faithfulness for those who keep breeto/His covenant
and 'edotiv/His testimonies.”
As those who are the seed of Avraham, Yetzchaq and Ya’aqov/Yisra’el our
halachah thus must become ‘the Way of Yehowah’ as we seek to follow in the
footsteps of fathers Avraham, Yetzchaq and Yisra’el by doing
tzdaqah/righteousness and meshpat/justice intertwined with
chesed/kindness-goodness. Further, we are to obey the voice of Yehowah and
guard His Charge: His commands, His Laws and His Torot.
True Yisra’elite religion was anciently called ‘the Way of Yehowah.’ In
YirmeYahu/Jeremiah 6:16-17 we see the following: Thus said Yehowah, “Stand by
the roadways and seek and ask for the ancient paths, where derech
hatov/the good Way is, and walk in it: and find rest for your souls.”
The Yahudim of today and recent past make the serious mistake of claiming
that the twelve tribes of Yisra’el were absorbed into the house of
Yahudah. They also tell us that the ancient belief and practice of
Yisra’el, called ‘the Way of Yehowah’ then became Judaism, which is called
after the imagined greatly enlarged house of Yahudah. So they chose to
believe that the ten tribes of ‘Ehfrayem Yisra’el disappeared from the
face of the earth as they were absorbed into the tribe of Yahudah. The
house of Yahudah then established their own halachah based upon Torah and
the Talmud compiled between 200 and 500 C.E. The Talmud, a Rabbinic work
includes both the Mishnah and Gemara, which is a commentary and further
explanation of the Mishnah. The Talmud has become tradition for the
Yahudim. The Hebrew word for tradition is ‘masoret.’ The Encyclopedia
Judaica says, “Masoret is the general name for tradition. It is found in
Ezekiel 20:37 and means originally ‘bond’ or ‘fetter.’ ” Tradition is the
discipline which establishes the correct practice and interpretation of
the Torah and was therefore regarded as a hedge or fetter about the Law
(Avot 3:14).
Now on the other hand, we see Christians as non-Yahudim claiming to speak
the ‘true faith’ or to be ‘true Yisra’el,’ or a ‘spiritual Yisra’el.’ They
have established their walk or their way-halachah separate from any
reference to ‘the Way of Yehowah’ and His Torah. Salvation thru the
anti-Torah grace of Je-us is a contract with pagan Roman Empire mythology
centuries after Yahushua was manifested on earth to find and redeem the
lost sheep of the house of Yisra’el, the yet present ten tribes of
Yisra’el.
Thus, we must pay close attention to the facts that the walk-halachah of
Rabbinic Judaism and the walk-halachah of most Christians are not ‘the Way
of Yehowah’ as we see outlined in the Tenach and Breet Chadashah.
Inasmuch as man has a propensity towards sin, crookedness and rebellion
against Yehowah and His Torah, Yehowah Himself has made provision for the
redemption of man. Yehowah has provided a Redeemer and Savior.
YeshaYahu/Isaiah 8:13-16; “Yehowah Tzva’ot/Yehowah of hosts, Him you shall
set-apart. Let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread.” “And he shall
be for a set-apart place, but a stone of stumbling and a rock that makes
for falling to both houses of Yisra’el, as a trap and a snare to the
inhabitants of Yerushalayim.” “And many among them shall stumble and fall,
and be broken and snared and taken.” “Bind up the testimony of the Torah
among My taught ones.”
YeshaYahu/Isaiah 43:11 & 25-26; “I, I am Yehowah, and besides Me there is no
moshi’ah/Savior.’
“I, I am He who blots out your transgressions (crookedness and rebellion)
for My own sake, and remember your sins no more.” “Remind Me, let us enter
into judgment, together; relate, that you might be declared right.”
YeshaYahu/Isaiah 44:6-8; “Thus said Yehowah, Sovereign of Yisra’el, and
go’ali/His Redeemer, Yehowah Tzva’ot/ Yehowah of hosts, ‘I am the First and I am
the Last, besides Me there is no ‘Elohim.” “And who is like Me? Let them
call and declare it, and lay it before Me, since I appointed the
everlasting people. And the events that are coming and those that do come,
let them declare these to them.” “Do not fear, nor be afraid. Have I not
since made you hear, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there an
‘Eloah besides Me? There is no other Rock, I know not one.”
Our halachah must be based on faith as Avraham had in Yehowah’s Promises
and that Yehowah is the Savior of Yisra’el. We must have true heart
acceptance that Yahushua and Yehowah are ‘Echad and further that Yahushua’s
body is the vessel of Yehowah’s Salvation poured out to us through the
shedding of tzadiq/Righteous dom/Blood.
RomiYah/Romans 10:4-5; “For the Mashiach/Messiah is the goal of the Torah
unto tzdaqah/righteousness to everyone who believes. For Mosheh writes
about the righteousness, which is of the Torah, “The man who does those
things shall live by them.”
The death penalty hung over our heads apart from Mashiach/Messiah. The
curse of the Torah is the penalty demanded by it that we can never pay.
The prophetic writings of the Tenach tell of One Who would pay that
penalty demanded under the Torah/law on our behalf.
MattithYahu/Matthew 5:17; Yahushua said, “Think not that I have come to
destroy the Torah or the
nevi’im/prophets. I did not come to destroy the Torah, but to completely
reveal it in its fullness.”
Therefore, Messiah Yahushua is the goal, objective, reason, intent, hope,
desire or aim of the Torah so that all who will accept the atoning
sacrifice on their behalf will be reconciled to and justified before Yehowah
‘Elohim.
[All who desire salvation must appoint Yahshua as Savior, and desire
Yehowah’s salvation, and desire to live in accordance with Yisra’el’s eternal
constitution called the Torah.] Taken from ‘The Restoration Scriptures’ by
Rav. Moshe Koniuchowsky; page 465, footnote # 13.
YirmeYahu/Jeremiah 10:10-11 & 16; “But Yehowah is truly ‘Elohim. He is the
everlasting ‘Elohim and the everlasting Sovereign. At His wrath the earth
shakes, and the nations are unable to stand His displeasure.” Say to them
this, “The ‘elah/mighty one (not ‘Elohim) that did not make the heavens
and the earth shall perish from under these heavens.”
“The portion of Ya’aqov is not like these, for He is the Maker of all, and
Yisra’el is the tribe of His inheritance – Yehowah Tzva’ot/Yehowah of hosts is
His Name.”
The key to our Halachah is the Ruach haQodesh/Set apart Spirit of Yehowah
working in our lives. This can happen only when we accept the true ‘Way of
Yehowah’ and we each allow the Set-apart Spirit to work in and through us. Be
careful and most diligent, unless the teachings/doctrines of men become
greater in your mind than the Torah of Yehowah Tzva’ot/Yehowah of hosts!
Are you a preserved one of Yisra’el?
YeshaYahu/Isaiah 49:6; “Shall it be a small matter for You Yahushua to be
My Servant to raise up the tribes of Ya’aqov, and to bring back the
netzyra/preserved of Yisra’el? And I shall give You as a light to the
goyem/nations, to be My salvation unto the ends of the earth!”
YirmeYahu/Jeremiah 31:6-7; “For there shall come a day when the
notzrim/watchmen cry on Mount ‘Ehfrayem, ‘Arise, and let us go up to
Tziyon, to Yehowah ‘Elohaynu.’ ” For thus said Yehowah, “Sing with gladness for
Ya’aqov, and shout for the chief of the nations. Cry out, give praise, and
say, ‘O Yisra’el, save Your people, the sh’erit/remnant of Yisra’el!’ ”
